Plants – Delve into plant defence mechanisms against pests and diseases, whether plants can hear or sense their surroundings, rare and endangered plants, carnivorous plants and their methods of catching insects, recognition abilities of plants, survival techniques of desert plants with limited water, oldest and tallest trees, reproduction methods without seeds, and whether plants have a sense of smell or taste.
Animal Body Parts – Investigate how animals utilize echolocation for navigation and finding food, whether animals with fur or feathers can feel weather changes, the strongest animal bites, colour-changing abilities in animals like chameleons, regenerative capabilities in animals, the process of shedding and regrowing antlers, communication through sound waves in animals like dolphins, night vision or seeing in the dark, camouflage techniques used by animals, and venomous bites or stings in certain animals.
Life Cycles – Mammals – Learn about the process of baby mammals learning to walk and swim, whether mammals can have twins or triplets like humans, how mammals recognize their parents and siblings, mammals undergoing metamorphosis, adaptations of mammals to different environments, behavioural changes as mammals grow older, long-distance migrations in specific mammals, finding specific foods based on different diets, and how mammals utilize their senses for navigation and wayfinding.
Insects with 4-Stage Life Cycle – Explore the changes in body shape during each stage of an insect’s life cycle, whether insects can remember information across stages, insects that go through incomplete metamorphosis, coordination of flight in insects with four wings, communication through sounds or vibrations in insects, navigation during long-distance migrations by insects, insects with specialized mouthparts for feeding, the role of insects in pollination and plant growth, and the purpose of bright colours and patterns in insects as a warning to predators.
